Greek Mithology




OLYMPIAN GODS:
The Olympians are a group of 12 gods who ruled after the overthow of the Titans. All the Olympians are related in some way. They are named after their dwelling place Mount Olympus.


TITANS:

The Titans, also known as the elder gods, ruled the earth before the Olympians overthew them. The ruler of the Titans was Cronus who was de-throned by his son Zeus. Most of the Titans fought with Cronus against Zeus and were punished by being banished to Tartarus. During their rule the Titans were associated with the various planets.



Cerberus
CREATURES: The monsters represent the unknown and fear. They abound in Greek mythology. They can be divided into several types: hybrids, which are composed of parts of other animals or humans, those that originate in metamorphosis, usually caused by a divine punishment, and those who simply have tangible qualities unusual.
Cyclopes, Hecatoncheires, Giants, Ash Tree Nymphs, Typhoeus, Cerberus, Sirens, Centaur, Medusa, Argus Panoptes, Chimaera, Echidna, Gorgons, Pegasus, Chrysaor


FIGURES: The pantheon of Greek gods personified adopted human figures and forces of the universe, as well as men, the Greeks gods were unpredictable, so sometimes had a strong sense of justice and others were cruel and vindictive, their favors were achieved by through sacrifice and devotion, but these procedures were not always effective because the gods were fickle.
